FAQ

How does working with you…work? 

We’ll jump on a (free) call to discuss what you’re looking for and if I would be a good fit for your needs. From there I will draw up a contract and send it to you for your review. Once that is approved and signed, we will discuss the content calendar for you or your client, and talk through any additional information I may need to make sure your social media voice sounds like you.

I am more than happy to have a monthly meeting to go over the content calendar, and may be able to have a weekly meeting by request, depending on my availability. When I complete the copy, I will insert the copy itself or a link to the copy into the content calendar spreadsheet, and one or two revisions are included if needed. 

And then we rinse, and repeat!

Do you create the content calendar, or do I?

I am happy to either work off of a content calendar that you create and suggest edits in (the more information I have, the better the copy that I can write), or to jump on a call with you at the end of the month to create a content calendar with you for the following month, for a small fee. 

How do payments work?

Payments will either be made by the end of the previous month for the following month (for example, a January 31st deadline for February payment), and may be broken into bimonthly payments to be made on the 15th and 31st of each month if needed. I will send you an invoice a couple of days before the payment is due, and you can easily make the payment via my invoicing system.

Do you create the graphics for my social media accounts?

As a general rule, no. I can create some graphics for either social media or email upon request, but my talents lie in making sure your copy is engaging, informative, and personable. Oh, and that your CTA is kick-ass.

Do you work with our (marketing agency’s) clients? 

As a general rule, no, I do not. I will work with one or two contacts at your business or agency, but I am not client-facing. 

What do I need to have before working with you?

The only thing you may want to have before we get started is a brand voice guide. Ensuring that I match your or your client’s voice and mission is my top priority as a copywriter. I need to make sure that my copy reads like your brand, and that it helps you accomplish your goals. A brand voice guide helps me know how to do just that for your business, or your client’s business!

What is the best way to reach you?

Email! While I try to set normal working hours (M-F, 8-5 pm EST), I am unfortunately glued to my phone during most waking hours, so send away! contact@ktstevens.com

Where are you located?

I’m located in beautiful East Tennessee and work out of the Eastern Time Zone. I work with clients all over the country, however!

Is your Customer Relations Specialist/mascot up for adoption?

Only if she poops in the house again.

Social Media Captions

Email Copy

What is it?

You know those sales emails that you get from your favorite clothing brand that almost immediately have you pulling out your wallet? That's a result of effective marketing email copy, and it's what I'm here to help with.

How will this help my business?

Email marketing is the main way that most digital marketing is done. Email marketing works because people have voluntarily signed up for your email list - making them warm leads. But in order to ensure that these warm leads convert, you need excellently-written marketing copy to persuade them into buying your product.

What do you offer?

I'm glad you asked! I offer marketing emails in Mailchimp (I will copy and paste the code that you will then copy and paste into your own Mailchimp account). Some of the types of emails I do are new customer onboardings, sales emails, launch emails, newsletters, and more!

 

Blog Posts

What is it?

Blog posts are an amazing way to bring organic traffic to your website. These are generally about a thousand words long, and will be on topics that would be beneficial to your target client, as well as play into the product or service that your business offers. For example, this could be "7 Tips to Keep Your Makeup Pool-Party-Proof" for a waterproof mascara.

How will this help my business?

With *effective* blog posts that play into your sales funnel, those readers can then convert into customers with effective CTAs and valuable information for your ideal clientele.
